Jeff Koons

This ordinary piece of work is called the Rabbit which was made in 1986. This work is made just like most of his other ones. It is cold hard stainless steel that measures at 41 x 19 x 12 inches (balloonhq.com). It is very polished so no matter where you are looking at it, there is always a reflection. This is also an idea of a balloon object. I can't believe how shinny they make this object.

Just like all of Jeff Koons other works he is representing fun entertainment that is clever. It's a cute, warm, soft looking of a rabbit. Rabbits are more to catch kids eyes because it is a pet. Rabbits in real life are wonderful pets and just everything about it is nice. I think Jeff is amazing at what he does and there is never any harm in his work. It is all just to catch eyes of others and interest people mostly younger.

There is nothing that this reminds me that we have went over in class. The only experiences I have had in my life that could possibly relate to this piece of work is that i had a bunny before but thats about it.
